This year students from Leeds Beckett University in the School of Public Relations and Journalism’s undergraduate and graduate modules in Digital Communication are going to be launching a new public relations and communications related showcase of their work.
The majority of the content — written, audio, and video — that you’ll be seeing on this site represents original student work that is peer-reviewed. The work posted here will have been peer-reviewed, revised, and also reviewed and accepted by our student editorial board.
In addition, as the School of PR and Journalism has news about our programme and from our academic staff, we will share that here as well. Finally, we would also invite alumni from our courses to contribute to the blog. Over time, we would like this blog to develop into a showcase of excellence in our students, staff, and alumni.
The blog is now live and you can expect new content weekly.
Please feel free to take a look at the profiles of our student editors and contributors for 2017. The blog is compiled and edited by Senior Lecturer Audra Diers-Lawson who teaches the Digital Communication modules at Leeds Beckett as well as the Issues and Crisis module and one of the Corporate Social Responsibility graduate modules.
If you’re a Leeds Beckett Public Relations student, alumni, or staff and would like to have your work included on this site, contact us and we’ll follow up with contributor information.
