My name is Anastasiia Ulianchenko, I am Ukrainian and I am 22 years old. I obtained my Bachelor degree at the Institute of Journalism in Kyiv, Ukraine in Advertising and Public Relations, graduated in 2012. Currently I am doing the Master of International Communication, which is a double degree program. First semester of my studies was completed in the Netherlands at Hanze University of Applied Science, the second one is being in progress in England at Leeds Beckett University.
I tried myself as a journalist in the “7 buttons” online-media (2013), marketer assistant in the marketing department of the “JOY” glossy magazine (2014), PR-manager assistant in the “J&I Advertising and PR Agency” (2015). I received a wide range of skills and knowledge during my practice including content-management, media monitoring and advertising copywriting skills, understanding of media planning strategies and event-management principles. Apart from these, I had an opportunity to master my communication skills, making me an effective team-worker. I’ve always tried to improve my professional and personal traits and organizational skills by organizing my own projects such as “Maksymovych Scientific Library Design Competition”, attending different conferences, master-classes and courses.
My abilities to work within an intercultural environment as well as being responsible and fast-learning person are characteristics I gained and mastered during my studies abroad and by successfully working on real client projects (best group awards chosen by the client and university for Gasterra project at Hanze). I believe that my individual characteristics, professional skills and experience coupled with the opportunities, given to me by universities, will guide me to success in my career aim to become a managing director of the international advertising agency.
