In 2013 after the realisation set in that I couldn’t be a Fashion Designer (largely because I can’t sew) I attended a university in Surrey for three years to study Journalism.
The course combined elements of Fashion, Music and Politics, much to my delight I graduated with a BA (Honours) degree in the summer of 2016.
I have always lived in the UK, although my most recent travel experience was in Paris, which was extremely inspiring, the fact I can also speak some French certainly helped with any navigational issues.
Any previous work experience and placements have all been based at PR agencies in the marketing department. My most recent placement has been with a company called Pure Collection who import luxury cashmere to the UK.
My most utilised skills have been the ability to build a brands social media presence from the ground up, writing press releases and posting regular content on channels such as Instagram and Facebook.
Personality-wise I am very creative and love incorporating this personal asset into my work and picture myself as being a forward thinker with an excellent visual eye.
One of the most positive attributes about me is that I have an intuitive nature when dealing with people which has always worked to my advantage.
My long- term aim is to work in a Fashion related PR company. As I think of myself as a people person, dealing with crisis communication or contributing to social media campaigns with lots of client interaction would be ideal job roles that would suit me well.
