Author: Rachel Clarke

My personality is rooted in creative thinking, the nurture of others and sharing information in accessible ways, with a strong awareness of how and why behaviour has a key role. This is to inspire a desire for deeper understanding, to offer motivation to act and to encourage us all to survive and thrive in this ever-changing digitally-centered world we live in today. The focus of my education has centered around Business, particularly PR, HR, Strategy and Management. So far during my Masters, I have achieved commendation from Marketing Management of an international company for my presentation skills of a new communication strategy, as well as the highest grade in the cohort. I have continuously refined my prudence, contentiousness and leadership skills through my education, and in employment. I currently work for one of the largest food retailers in the UK as a social media coordinator, which harnesses these skills, in a public, ever-changing environment. I am also working on my own business alongside this role and my degree, I enjoy being busy and being engaged with multiple projects. I plan to grow in my career with a focus on wellbeing, sustainability and currently, the vegan movement. The content I create reflects that I deeply believe that people should be conscious, considerate beings. To be aware, responsible, empathetic and courageous for ourselves, for other people, and for the world and all beings who live upon it. This must come from within, and from society, including a key role for businesses to show up and go above and beyond for the wellbeing of their employees, for the greater purpose of a well-rounded, satisfied life, leading to increased productivity, and therefore, better business. I view wellbeing as a societal responsibility, and I aim to explore this in a quirky, positively refreshing, way.
